HOW BASKET WORKS

One coin.
A different kind of pair.

Most coins trade against a single asset. A basket token trades against a combined reserve of up to four coins.

THE MECHANICS

Follow the coins.

See what happens when a basket is created, bought, or sold.

Pair your token with the coins you choose.

Choose one to four official Pump coins and set their initial weights. The first successful purchase establishes the reserve recipe.

The intended trade executes atomically: all required steps succeed together, or the transaction reverts. Devnet execution testing is still in progress.

TWO PRICE DRIVERS

Basket demand. Underlying value.

One token gives you exposure to both. Either can move up or down.

Two exposures, not two payouts. A fall in either can offset a gain in the other.

A simplified marginal-price example, not a return forecast or sell quote. Fees, slippage, and liquidity limits are excluded. Returns are not guaranteed.

01

The recipe stays fixed.

Initial weights guide the first purchase. Actual acquired quantities establish the recipe. Later trades grow or shrink it proportionally; price changes do not trigger rebalancing.

02

Every basket is its own token.

Each has its own mint, reserve, trading activity, and curator. There is no shared BASKET coin or free creator token allocation.

FEES & TRANSPARENCY

Know the cost before you sign.

Basket trades have a planned 1% fee: 0.70% to the platform and 0.30% split between creator fees and trader cashback. Standalone underlying-coin trades have a separate 1% platform fee.

UNDERLYING SWAP FEES

How Pump’s 1.25% applies across the coins.

Each underlying swap pays the venue fee on its own traded amount. With the same rate on every coin, splitting a trade across four coins still gives a 1.25% combined venue fee on the total swap notional.

The 0.30% creator portion goes to each underlying coin’s configured recipient. It is separate from the basket curator’s BASKET fee share. Actual allocations follow the required reserve quantities and current prices.

Graduated coins trade on PumpSwap, where rates vary by pool and market cap. Mixed rates produce a trade-size-weighted combined fee. The final quote must show each swap’s fee, the BASKET fee, network costs, and minimum received.
